Again, nothing that was recorded to be released. Toy was still writing, working with other bands, he was invited by many bands, and had not yet, put TCB together. This took awhile to get a good fit, and in 1983-84, Toy was not in the studio.Abbie Caldwellhttp://www.officialtoycaldwell.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2911668242557100887.post-10777505513368080612011-09-22T08:18:34.747+02:002011-09-22T08:18:34.747+02:00MTB are my favourite band.Solo works from Toy are ...MTB are my favourite band.Solo works from Toy are realy hard toget. Many thanks for chance to hear this...kobilicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06970501075601595268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2911668242557100887.post-39738681788148888432011-01-05T08:51:07.693+01:002011-01-05T08:51:07.693+01:00Thanks for the info ziggy. He sang on My Rose to Paradise and Damn Sure. Bruce Marshall wrote and sang Welcome to the Human Race but he didn't join TCB until around 1989 so this song was added to this package. They did a 4 song EP and this version is likely from that EP. Paul Hornsby did produce this solo project. I had asked him about it via email awhile back. Very enjoyable, thanks for putting it on here.zigginoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2911668242557100887.post-32169661602579682772010-07-31T07:21:00.932+02:002010-07-31T07:21:00.932+02:00I can verify that Paul Hornsby produced this album...I can verify that Paul Hornsby produced this album, and it did indeed feature Norton Buffalo. My memory is that Franklin Wilkie played bass. At the time, I was playing in a band with Jaimoe from the Allman Brothers Band and Norton sat in with us at the Rookery in Macon. Toy did a set as well, playing my guitar. I was fortunate to be invited by Paul to check out the sessions down at Capricorn Studios. If memory serves, Toy also recorded a killer version of "Ghost Riders In The Sky" that isn't included here. I remember Paul playing that track for me. I'm still thrilled that Toy Caldwell played my guitar, and still embarrassed that it had rusty strings!

Scott Freeman
Author of:
Midnight Riders: The Story of the Allman Brothers Band
Otis!
